LONGBOARDS

Town Model - This is a wider, thicker board that has a fuller nose and a wider tail. It comes with either a flat or concave nose, moderate roll in the belly and extra vee in the tail. This board is designed for smaller, slower waves, like Waikiki or Diamond Head. It has a lower entry rocker which helps to glide better while paddling. This board can be ordered as a single fin or a 2+1. The tail shape is to be determined by the rider.

North Shore Model- This is a more narrow board that usually comes with a single to double concave bottom. This design usually has extra overall rocker that helps it to turn in the hook of the wave a lot better. This shape is usually ordered a little bit thicker for better strength and paddling. The nose and tail and overall width are pulled in to promote speed. It can be ordered as a 2+1 fin set up or a tri fin. The tail shape is to be determined by the rider.

Pro Model – The pro model is designed to be an all around board. This board can do a little of everything. It has a semi full nose, moderate width and a slightly pulled in tail. Extra rocker in the tail keeps it loose and low entry rocker helps it paddle well. This board comes with a flat nose, slight roll in the belly and vee in the tail. It is sometimes ordered with a slight double concave in the tail to help give a little boost off the bottom. This board is usually ordered a little lighter for more responsiveness. This design comes in a 2+1 or tri fin set up, as well. The tail shape is up to the rider.

Mini Tanker -These boards are scaled down versions of any of the above models. They are usually thin and light and are ordered by women and kids. Women tend to want boards that are easier to carry, meaning they fit under their arm better and easy to turn. Some men like these boards because they dip under waves good and you can throw them around like a short board better.
